Well there is / recently was a containment hold on recent deliveries for battery issues. Won’t surprise me if a few slipped through to customers.

Assuming it's parked someplace safe, close it up, walk away, let it sleep, come back.

Those "may be restored on next drive" errors can be like magical gremlins that go away never (hopefully) to return.

I live in Erie. Still waiting on my SAWD. Not many CT's around here, but I'm happy to add mine to our total. My buddy owns one and warned me about some of the negative energy he gets when driving around Erie, but I was a cop for 30 years here, so I'm used to that.

Perhaps this is why April manufactored trucks were onhold. I ordered 3/28, showing in production on 4/6, and it's been at that status since with no updates. still waiting for the truck.

Seeing this, I guess I rather wait for the fix before driving it for few thousand miles and having to deal with this issue. I do have a road trip planned east to west driving over 4000 miles in 2 weeks.

Yea figured it'd be a hard welcome.. Wouldnt mind driving it around, its more about parking and leaving it alone for extended periods..

Pretty insane to have to worry about peoples intentions, but thats the world we live in I suppose..

I just had that same warning on my 2025 CT with 7500 miles. It was towed to the service center and they said it will be at least a month to fix it. Replacing the high voltage battery!

I had that problem when I was towing a trailer and performed a fast acceleration.
