I am not sure how this is media fault. They most likely cannot name the actual person due to privacy rules and pending investigation. Also if they were driving a "Ford" or "Chevy" that would have been there instead of "Telsa"

They did not mention what type of vehicle and just kept it generic. We get this all the time in Texas where a driver, driving a "Ford" truck, struck and killed "x" people or "injuried" some other car/truck/bus passengers. Then once they go to trial or such the person's name will come out also.

Here is one today from USA today and they mention Chevy Silverado. Does that make them Chevy bias?

But like Hemerich above said any lost of life like this is heart breaking. That is the tragic part of this and other stories like this.

Again I really do feel for families when something like this happens.

It’s likely not accidental it says Tesla driver and not driver or car driver.
I think that’s J’s point.

You are right Hemerich it does say Tesla driver. I sort of get why some of you all are so sensitive on any mention of Telsa. But I am not a Telsa or CT basher at all if you look at the few prior posts.

As for the link I did it is from a recent Texas crash and just was pointing out that they do mention other vehicles driven in accidents and such.

As for me I got no Youtube channel, or do any of the other digital stuff at all. My digital footprint is tiny to say the least. So when I do a link I am not thinking of clickbait as the few links I do are major news sites and not sure if they get money like the ones you all are thinking about.

I only go on this forum and the Mavrick forum as that is the type of vehicle we got. My few prior posts you will see they are usually questions about the CT like how does it do this or that.

I think the CT is a tech marvel at this point in time. Many good features that alot of you really like. It is just to big for me and the misses at our point in life. So we went for a small truck to still at least get some truck features like a bed for mulch or bringing home a christmas tree via a truck bed.

But to finish up I truly feel bad for the family and anyone who has a love one taken away by a preventable accident.
