They replaced mine for free as part of a service appointment. I added “exterior trim: replace roof appliqués for ones with roof rack doors”. I had other things on my service appt though too.

I hate it because now I can’t properly secure my 9’ longboard on the roof, it would snap in half. Not to mention how many accessories attach to the forward mounts. Pretty disappointed in this decision.

I took my 2025 awe non foundation in to get my appliqués replaced because they were warped. The original ones did not have the roof rack doors. To my surprise when I got my truck back I noticed the new appliqués had the doors! So you might get lucky and get the foundation appliqués.

Pretty much! They gave us a specific cut-off of November 2024 and then it seemed to lag a little bit after that.
That explains why my 2024 AWD (build date: Nov 15, 2024) has the mounting cutouts on the appliqué.

I remember when I took delivery in December, I was surprised to see them.

It’s in the post you just quoted. Just took him to my post with where to cut a hole.
😂

I will say that, technically, I was thinking of @Pixelgeist since he was the brave one actually slicing up his appliqué; you did provide helpful measurements though I didn’t necessarily remember that it was you who had done it. 😉

I'm the one who cut my own mount holes in the other post. I can confirm that all hardware is still there including accessory power feed.

Edit: I remember that even after measuring carefully that I was still a bit off and had to lengthen some of the holes. Go figure.

Tell me you don't read my posts without telling me you don't read my posts. ;)

I could be wrong but I believe that all non-Foundation series do not come with the access ports to the roof and bed rail mounts. It might be an additional expense. Let us know if your SC or mobile service guy replaces them!
I picked my AWD on 26DEC2024 and it has the all four locations. I believe that changed since the new year and requires purchasing new appliqués to uncover the mounting points.
