Missing tonneau cover rubber seal during delivery

I took delivery of my 2026 AWD Premium on March 23rd and did not notice that it was missing the left side bottom tonneau cover rubber seal until about 2 weeks later, I contacted service and they wanted to charge me $55 for the seal. Luckily i had taken lots of pictures and videos and was able to verify that it was missing upon pickup already and with that they offered the replacement for free. Make sure you take photos and double and triple check everything!

Do they not have simple checklists to catch these kind of things in QC?

Every visit, gifts, bagels, hero’s, anything
They take care of me, mostly warranty, unless me
Immediate appointments
I use the app but also have connections
If urgent, Book service, then message, they move me in
If not urgent, just book the date
But always being gifts

Yes, they initially quoted me $55 even after telling them i only had the truck for 2 weeks and less than 800 miles. After that, i started looking for pictures of delivery and found one and told them and they requested the proof before they made it free.

I sorta understand their side too that someone couldve just taken it off and blamed it during delivery but im glad its all taken care of. Looks like my truck was made on a friday afternoon lol.
