Just notified by $TSLA service that our October 22 service date will likely have to be moved as they are still waiting for parts. This is starting to look grim. Wonder if we will get the CT back this year or even next spring .... ?

You might want to consider fixing it yourself just enough to make it drivable.

In my case it's still perfectly drivable, the damage is only cosmetic. If it weren't, and all the parts come in some time early next year as I suspect, the wait would have been 6 months or more.

I might even replace the bumper and some of the other parts with aftermarket if someone comes up with something good in the meantime.

Your damage doesn't look that serious either except for the flat tire. I'm guessing the wheel climbed up the concrete column a bit and the tire came off the rim? If there's no suspension damage, why not keep on trucking in the meantime?

Actually the right front A frame is lying on the ground having been literally ripped apart by the concrete base of the column. It went back to TSLA on a flat bed. Insurance estimates on the repair are ~ 20K at this point. Wish it were cosmetic and drivable, but not even in the ball park.

My FS CT was delivered last month and what a ball that was. My wife liked it so much that she pretty much took it over and sent me back to our black Model X Ludicrous which is certainly a fine ride, but no CT. We went to put her Sequoia out for sale and while I was prepping it I heard an awful sound like someone ripping the right quarter panel off of a new CyberTruck. My dear wife came running up to where I was standing and exclaimed the sound I heard was indeed that of a CyberTruck coming apart. Mine to be specific. Without getting into further details (no I didn't get mad at her), how long should this take to repair ?

I realize I am late to the thread.

Here in Fremont they were overloaded when my Model S was hit and I was allowed to choose a Tesla certified shop. You might have that option, don't tell Tesla if eBay parts are used. But an eBay trunk lid saved me at least a month repair time.

Update this AM. Service date pushed out to November due to scarcity of available parts. No expected completion date available.

Yikes. I missed exactly how this happen ? It must of been going kind of fast right ? Did she just not see the big concrete piller ?
I bet she was on the phone. But clearly not paying attention. Get it fixed and dont let her drive it again. I feel for the owner.

Naw, she's about as good as they come and felt pretty badly about it. But not badly enough to give back to me when they get it repaired.
You are the man in the house? Right? You are making the payments?

I don't make payments. If she wants it she can have it I'll buy another one. Don't know if there are still Foundation Series CyberTrucks available. That said I'm not willing to wait years for another FS Lol.

Mine went in on 10/11 for the repairs in the attached photo. $17k and 45 days to repair is the estimate…

guy turned right in front of me. 100% his liability. $23k to fix the CT and his car was totaled. I had a Jeep wagoner rental for 2.5 months. Got it back a couple weeks ago, finally.

You can pay cash for your CT, will happily buy your wife another one, yet come onto the forum asking the peanut gallery how long it will take to repair based on a photo. ?

This would be a $45,000 repair bill on Rivian. I wonder what your repair quote will be.

It went to @Tsla on a flatbed. Definitely not roadable.
How did you arrange that? Somebody just hit mine yesterday and the wheel and rear corner are significantly damaged but drivable to the point that it got me back home.

I would prefer it go to the service center (2 hr drive) on a flatbed. Will they bring it back to me once it's repaired or would I need to plan to pick it up? Definitely a 'disappointing' experience.

Oh: when you got it back, did it FEEL good-as-new? I'm so pessimistic that my new truck will feel wonky in some way. Does the new-truck(!) thrill come back?

Our CT wasn't readable so it had to go on a flatbed. Insurance company sent the flatbed to the crash site. Got our truck back last week and it's pretty much perfect. Tesla gave me the print out from the alignment gizmo showing all wheels were within spec for camber, in tow and lateral placement. One of the tire covers was slightly scratched and they sent me 2 new ones in the mail gratis. Overall they did a top notch job.
