My Cybertruck now does Robotaxi!

Saw this trick on Instagram Model Y and ordered parts from Amazon for $40 to give it a try.

https://a.co/d/0f33nNwC

https://a.co/d/06i5qxxj

Drilled a hole in the top front of the head, glued in the magnet and then the other side of the magnet sticks the visor magnet.

Not recommended for public road use, but it did drive me to Vons while I sat in the back seat without complaint.

Seriously not good to promote this in any way at all.

Maybe funny for 2 seconds, if that.

Surprised this came from you.

Roger, you’re an awesome dude and probably my favourite manufacturer of Cybertruck parts but this post is straight dumbassery coming from a sponsor.
I have no idea which of you all on here is the torque news snitch, but pretty please erase this from your memory.
Using this on a public roadway even as a thought experiment not only deliberately and illegally endangered the lives of the people in the cars around you who didn’t consent to it and likely the children and elderly people who were in the cars with them, but also by extension the future of FSD, a technology with the potential to save hundreds of thousands of lives.
Bragging about it on a public forum where you represent your business too is nothing short of boneheaded. Honestly.
Still friends of course, but I expected better from you.
Was this guy cool with you heading to Vons this way?

I took the post in the vein that it was meant, it was funny and educational, and it does highlight some of the limits and limitations of our system… both good and potentially bad . There was a disclaimer not for road use, I believe we can all lighten up and laugh and not shoot the messenger.

I love it though I won’t try it.
Thanks for the insight!
In our awesome country of FREEDOM, this kind of stuff is what it’s all about. Just put a line in about “for entertainment purposes only - do not try this at home”.

would love to see this video combined with the one regarding “FSD reacts to painted mural that looks like a road - road runner style” and see what happens lol.

I can see where the OP was curious and experimenting to see if this could work…

SMDH…

Quite a few of my patients wish they never got into their vehicles the day they became disabled

I see the allure to do so, but for me it must come from FSD’s capabilities, not from hacking a safety feature.

Carry on Tesla community

I'm all for Freedom and Merica, but the problem is some people will use this not for entertainment purposes and end up killing someone ruining multiple lives.

we should cancel beast mode and sparklers and popcorn because they all pose a danger for speeding, skin burns and choking.

perhaps rearrange “beast” mode to “betas” mode…

We canceled Cadbury eggs. Why not cancel fun too?

Pretty sure Roger is f-ing with everyone. The seat has a presence(weight) sensor. Tesla can easily update their SW to reject fixed faces like that too.

There's steering wheel mods that scroll your volume up/down for when the camera can't detect your face. That's also easy to detect with long enough usage.
