Homelink likely isn't compatible with the CT since the stainless steel frunk would either block or severely attenuate the RF signal transmission, if the Homelink device is mounted in the frunk like all the other Teslas.

You are looking at software that's used in all the cars. That field shows up everywhere. It's been there since day one. And you aren't the first on the forum to find it.
But it's been in the software for at least 6 years.

As @Cyber_95 mentioned, the stuff and ability to mount it just isn't there.
