I have both the Tesla solution and MyQ.
If you have good cell coverage, MyQ works great, and has the added bonus of actually knowing if your door is open or closed, and being able to open/close from anywhere - the Tesla one does not and will close the door if it's already open when you arrive. Slightly annoying!

The Tesla solution also has a slight edge in that it'll automatically open the garage if you turn on self drive in a closed garage.

We have 3 Teslas, so a single 10 year MyQ sub for the same price as the Tesla option is a no-brainer IMO.

Again, if you have good cell coverage, the MyQ works great.
How do we add the MyQ open/Close botton as a shortcut on the screen ?

If you hit the menu button like you're going to lights or outlets and mods or service or something like that, it shows up on the top right of the screen.

Mine opens and closes my door automatically as I approach or leave.

Been trying to get MyQ to work for a year. In my Rural area where cell phone coverage is poor at best, it just doesn’t work. Tried changing router on MyQ hub two days ago. Nightmare, since then have spent over 20 hours trying to get it to work. Time spent with MyQ tech support, three hours, resulted in worse problems and resulted in all manual clickers are now non-functional. SOMEONE NEEDS TO “YELL” in Elons ear” MyQ is not a solution, but is a problem. I WANT HOMELINK, it may not be high tech or sexy, BUT IT WORKS!!!!!!
Interesting. MyQ was an east install for me and flawlessly works with GPS. No complaints, no issues.

Two updates ago MyQ stopped working in the Cybertruck. Reloading caused MyQ to think it's a new install and needed a payment. Because I purchased ten years worth, I called MyQ support. They basically said, "Too bad, we won't help". Homelink was far better.
