Wait a second. Back the Cybertruck up. I’m confused. Why is it in your garage covered in xpel armor and with a phone charger installed if you rejected it?
Rejected means you left it at the delivery center right?
Or is that your first Cybertruck? You weren’t going to trade it in? The invoice above doesn’t show a credit for a trade. What were you gonna do with the first one? Sell on private market?
I am sorry for the confusion, guys. I posted the picture of my 1st truck in my garage to the knucklehead on this forum, who accused me of trolling the forum, and he also accused me of being the reporter who talks shit about the Cybertruck. I showed him that I am a legit Cybertruck owner and already owned one.

The truck in my garage was bought last December 2024( my 1st truck), and it is not a Beast. I decided to get the second one for my daughter, the CB FS, because it was a good deal at the time. No trade in

The truck never left its parking lot at the delivery center, it was never registered to my name, and I did not sign any documents. I did not drive it home with me.

I inspected the truck and saw the missing part on the roof. I asked them to fix the minor defect after I pointed it out to the person ( he did not even see it), and I told him I would pick it up the following week. The truck looked rough and beat up ( must have been sitting in the sun for months, possibly a year), for a new truck with only 16 miles on the odometer, as you can see in the picture I posted.

The next several days, I received a text to bring in the truck for the service. WTF! The vehicle was never in my possession. How can I bring it to the service? miscommunication between them, or is it more than what I saw.... " lemon truck"? Why would I spend over $100K get a lemon truck? Then I decided to cancel it

After I ordered the second one, the Reservation Number (RN) automatically appeared on my phone Tesla app with all of the information, agreement, contract, loan doc, payment over the phone through the bank and etc, about the truck, and I paid through the Tesla app.

Once I canceled the truck, all of the information about the canceled truck and the payment just disappeared automatically. No trace of it, even in my Tesla account.

So did they actually draw the $15k or so from your bank account? If so there is a paper trail and if they refuse to fix the problem your bank will. Just tell them you paid for something you never received. And if they didn’t draw it from the account, there is no problem. Just the $250 deposit which I think your SOL on with Tesla. You can try but almost nobody gets that back from them.
If you’re out $15k though, as I suggested earlier, I’d start with getting documentation from your bank like a wire number or check number or credit card receipt. Then I’d call Tesla customer service and if that doesn’t work go to a sales center or even better the delivery center that was going to fix the CB for you with said documentation and ask for your money back.
And if all that fails for some reason (can’t imagine it would) I’d ask the bank to do a chargeback type thing.

Of course, they drew $15K from the bank account. Otherwise, I would not have bothered to post this thread. I am a busy person and have better things to do than dealing with this headache. Luckily, I kept all of the documents in my phone.

I have called the number, and there is no real person to talk to.

Well good. I’m sure this can be cleared up. Sucks about the inconvenience. I understand where you’re coming from. Many of us have busy schedules and don’t want to be bothered with this sort of thing. I’m a trauma surgeon myself and I work outrageous hours and still sometimes have to bite the bullet and navigate the bureaucracy they operate with. Tesla can be very frustrating in this regard.
I’m sorry to say I think you missed out a little here because there are no longer any FS CB with free supercharging to be had. With 0% APR I might add. That one is by now most certainly sold.
Getting something similar now is at least $15k more expensive because of the luxe package and also doesn’t include a lot of the stuff you would get with a FS.
Perhaps the right thing to do would have been to drive the car home and then take it into the service center where they would have most certainly addressed every little niggle you might have had with the car and replaced the trim piece. Sounds like that’s how they intended it to happen based on the appointment they made you.
As for the “knucklehead”, @CT_AZ_4x4, I assure you that’s not the case. He’s a very good friend of mine and a top notch attorney with a hella impressive resume and extensive history of public service and self sacrifice. He’s generally very knowledgeable and also just a good dude overall. I’m proud to know him honestly.
This forum has been hounded by some very divisive and manipulative members of the “press” which have made everyone edgy about being bamboozled into saying things that are then taken out of context in various articles. It’s very easy to assume the story you presented which was a little ambiguous to start with was another such attempt.
Hang out here long enough and you’ll see exactly what I mean.
I hope this resolves smoothly and quickly for you with minimum time wasted.
My experience has been that the business side of Tesla is generally slow, but eventually does the right thing.

Another option could be to take delivery on another CT on the lot or nearby. If you do manage to swing that deal, verify the correct VIN is on all paperwork and in the app.

The missing piece was just a plastic cover for the roof trough. It is like $150. It “clips” in place.

You have other posts earlier this year making me doubt your sincerity. Possibly you have “rejected” other Cybertrucks? You’ve interacted with an apparently biased reporter regarding the Cybertruck?

I just can’t take your post at face value. Sorry. You do not appear to be a serious person.

Scooby Dooo, where are you? For 15k, my ass would be driving there every weekend until I get a response from the manager. This guy makes no sense. He has the truck in his garage, but didn't accept it.

Would you accept the truck as such condition? This would be my 2nd one. When you spend over $100k for the vehicle, you would expect crystal clean and flawless appearance. I am not a reporter as you think I am. My profession is medical doctor. For your BS post, here is the Fucking truck in my garage. Don’t accuse of someone who ask for help.
Check my records of how many posts have I posted?

As a dealer owner, I cannot believe that someone would deliver a vehicle, without an intensive inspection. minor detailer some time happens but missing the whole roof piece. That is not acceptable for anyone.

With Tesla you kinda have to accept the scuffs and get repairs completed within the grace period. OP contract got flushed due to a trim piece, which I would expect more from Tesla, however they moved on pretty quick and now look at the headache.

Overall it’s a pretty easy fix( still annoying)as OP has paper trails, I also would show up in person, they don’t like that

Couldn’t have summarized that better.

I love Tesla but that delivery center trying to give him the truck in that condition is pretty lousy. They need to clean and inspect. Its 115k. They could have delayed and fixed first. It looks dirty too.

It is lousy. Usually when you arrive at your scheduled appointment time though, they pull it into the showroom too. I wonder if they weren’t ready for him for whatever reason.

I would have asked them to fix that on the spot. Yes its a 100k truck and should never arrive in that condition, but the deal you had was pretty sweet and that piece could have been replaced (if they had one in stock - or they could have even pulled one off another truck and dealt with it later just to make the sale) in a few minutes.
