LOL, so true. But look at this way, three years later you can probably buy a brand new one for a lot less. See 4xe:

A few years back I was shopping and saw a Grand Cherokee 4xe for something similar, $25k or $30k off. It's strange that they keep trying new iterations. I can't imagine their customer base really asking for it anyway.

The planning for this vehicle began in a different political climate when EV mandates were in place. Automakers had no choice. With those gone, this will be released and probably fall flat.

I actually think it's a neat vehicle but the range is terrible, especially considering the 100 kwh battery. And if it's like the Charger EV, it will have a hard time hitting that range in the real world. Stellantis has some nice-looking, feature rich vehicles, but their EV tech leaves a lot to be desired. They're Tesla in 2012.

Once again, our almost six year design Cybertruck is very efficient
123kwh pack provides 325-340 miles
This Recon with 100kwh provides 250 miles

I see wagoners are also 30k plus off - crazy.
And agree on the range and reliability is not good either.

Range: "up to" 250 miles.

I read "up to" as a 100% charge. So 80%=200.

$65k?

So nearly CT price for less range, less capacity, less less less.

wow.

Agreed that Stellantis is disconnected from its customer base- but then which of us FSD users (the Tesla customer base) asked Tesla to eliminate the driver’s ability to set max speed in FSD? Tesla is supposed to be smarter than that, but I guess you can be really smart and still have no common sense.

250 miles of range is a fail in 2026. I predict the Recon be heavily factory subsidized with discounts/incentive's in a few months after leadership crunches the sales numbers.

The EV Charger is sales flop #1. The Recon will be sales flop #2.
