Hey Now! Figured this was the place to post this, If it isn't . let me know..
How's it going Guy's/
Joined before I actually buy a CT. Couldn't wait that long from a year ago. Had a reservation for the rwd version but needed to cancel it. Wound up buying a hardly used 23 Lightning Platinum at a huge discount, due to some hail damage.
had the hood replaced and painted to match. The few extra dimples on the top and hard tonneau cover don't bother me, it's a truck that gets used as a truck. Only thing I haul are the Seadoo or the pontoon Boat. So far loving the truck. But I dig the Cyber truck. Gonna read a lot. See what the most common issues are compared the F150. I am a gear head from way back still turning wrenches at 60. If it aint broke don't fix it! That's my motto.
So, give me clue as to what you like or don't about your truck.

well hey, welcome to the forum!

tons of things to love about the CT, especially compared to all of the other EV trucks, but the CT also has had a moderately pockmarked first year of production. Take some time and read around different threads and youll find pretty quickly all the things people love and all of the common issues people have had.

its a vibrant forum and usually members are super helpful! (Some aren't…) but hey, every community has its variety.

enjoy!

Well, that doesn't surprise me. Some people aren't happy until you're not. LOL. Thanks for the welcome!

i'm 78 YOA and NEVER thought I'd purchase an EV. I'm an old school gas guy with prior fast cars and big engines. However, I always liked different and unique transportation, so I took a chance and bought the Cybertruck with no dry run. Got 2,000 miles on it and simply love it. I don't do off-roading or towing, but as a daily driver it's easy to drive, quiet, fast, smooth, roomy and just plain FUN. Glad I made the choice.

Hey Ray, same here! I'm a car/truck guy. Don't care who built them . Just like cool rides. Really liking the power and quickness of the ev's. This is the future! Once the solid state batteries get figured out, then we will see mass exodus from ice ! Maybe before you or I evaporate ! Lol
