I did notice the interior sound. Makes one wonder exterior outside sound or it's relatedness. Tesla I am sure could care less.

Now hearing I really do contemplate removing exterior speaker and just creating my own horn. We don't have stop lights for 80 miles. Horns. They are on cows.

Why does the horn sound also play through the interior sepakers?
I am glad it doesn’t….although It doesn’t sound loud thru the cabin. Most folks tell me it’s not that loud outside. I wonder if it can be turned up so how.

So Wes is saying that our original Cybertrucks have the highly coveted trumpet horns that aren't found in newer Cybertrucks. This should increase the resale value of our trucks at least 3 fold! :)
So, I'll take $300,000.

I tried this exact same reboot last night, no luck. Still horneyless. Lol
Try rebooting the truck and not the display. Go into the service menu and reboot. The scroll wheel reset just resets the screen.

Schedule a mobile a service or visit a center. It’s a configuration issue in the update. Should be a simple fix. Mine is scheduled for Tuesday.

Mine is currently in service as I write this. They said they don't have any service bulletins for this issue yet, so they are going to power down the 48V system, and power back up to see if that works. I should know in 20 minutes and will post an update.

I think they might have fixed it. I just heard a super-loud firetruck sound come from the back of the building.

Wow, that sounds awesome! I tried mobile service today and they said bring it to shop tomorrow. Hopefully, they’ll be able to do same at Raleigh, NC!

@rrizzi7210 your boys @WPB were good! I went back to Tesla APP and noticed “upgrade now” available and tried it and BAM! Thanks for posting, I would have never thought to go back and look bc it wasn’t highlighted in the APP.

Yes, I had the same problem. I scheduled a service appointment yesterday for 2 weeks out and today I received a message from Tesla on the app.. They suggested that I try to reset the car with the brake pedal and scroll button method. I had already done that so I knew that that would not work. They sent me a specific software update which I installed. After that, the horn still did not work, but they said be patient and let the car go to sleep for a while. They were correct. Once it woke up the new horn works perfectly and by the way, I love it. Overall phenomenal service on a Sunday. Couldn't ask for more.
