one thing that helps getting more mileage out of the battery is adding supplemental power. This jet engine mounts to my tow hitch and allows me to choose a more aggressive tire AND add to range. With a full load of jet fuel, and only running the one turbine for now, I can get close to 500 miles. Extra bonus is that it keeps cars from tailgating you... more than once anyway.

Found it on AlixExpress, some assembly was required and there was no instruction manual.

So what is wrong with the OEM Pirelli Scorpions? I only have 3200 miles on my CT and so far I am happyl with them. We like to ski so I might have a different opinion after next winter. So far they are comfortable and quiet. I am tempted to buy nearly new ones I see on Facebook or eBay. Usually it is the wheels with tires. I'd keep one for a spare. Keep the tires and sell the other 3 wheels.

The Platinums also come with a “70,000 mile” tread life warranty.

Yep, happy with the Pirellis after 2000 miles. I also ski, so I'm interested in their snow performance. Have a 6wk ski trip out West planned for Feb/Mar, so I think I'll bring chains. I do have a set of the snow tires, but, I'm not sure a 7k mile roadtrip is the best usage.
