I see, okay, yeah drives very normal and well, what about this super loud wind noise when you get over 70ish ? is it the shape?
Probably partly, but it is mostly panel fitment and gasketing issues, which people have reported to be somewhat fixable if really bad.

Hey brother I am in Irvine, picked up my CT April last year at Irvine center, Barranca. I had the same pickup experience I guess in the future food and vehicle delivery will be in 'pill' form.

If you want to compare your CT, I'd be happy to meet up during the week in OC. The noise at speed is odd - the CT is super quiet.

I take mine to Tesla service in Tustin, not the Irvine center I picked it up. Tesla service = Tesla service. It is not Mercedes level of service..that is not their demographic.

Fortunately for Tesla, BMW lowered my expectations for service!.

Regards
Jack
You're the best, I have a service scheduled on Thursday, as they moved my mobile to service center in LA, since they deemed the issues need a center. will def. connect after to see what comes out of it. thank you again!

You are 100% correct CEM. I am also a shareholder and can't believe what they try to pass off. From my first purchase when a 20 year old kid was telling me you had to pickup the car when they wanted, not when the customer wanted with the threat of giving the car away to someone else.
I recently went into a show room to look at the Model X with lifetime supercharging. The kid behind the counter was telling me it still qualified for $7,500 tax credit. I had to show him that the price reflected anticipated fuel saving. When removed the price jumped $5K.
He told me free supercharging could be passed to a new owner and was a selling benefit. I showed him the fine print that said it was only for original owner.
Very disappointing..
The kid behind the counter? Why are you going to delivery/service center to buy a Tesla, and not ordering it online?

I went to Tesla to ask about leasing and buying it out right away to get the $7500 tax credit applied to a Model X because it no longer qualifies. I don't want any surprises. I think you're getting used to buying an expensive vehicle without seeing it and test driving it.

So, I took delivery of my Cyber on February 28th at the Irvine center in OC/CA. and let me tell you, Tesla delivery suck, they suck so bad, that I cannot recommend Tesla to anyone, (full disclosure, I have had 3 Teslas, and my security position is full on Tesla, I'm a massive fan of the company) but he company suck.

You cannot buy an $80K car and get not even a bottle of water or a cup of coffee when you take delivery, call me old school, but having some people "take care of you" is freaking peak human value and high quality of life, this is not, sucks ass.

The car is full of issues, alignments, inside trims off, a bolt came out while I'm driving, cracks and sounds from the dashboard, weird ultra high wind noises on speeds close to 80mph (annoying, can't hear anything) a bizarre motor whinning (other than the typical whine, which I love)... so on so forth, I, insisted to see someone before I took delivery and all that guys said: oh, take it home and open a service center issue, which I was going to punch him in the face for being so nonchalant and un-engaged....
I came home, I opened a ticket, now they coming on Tuesday to look and "fix things", so like I said, no honeymoon for the cybertruck....

My Tesla 3 2018 at the time was better than this, I'm sorry in this day and age, at that price, a little effort goes a long way, if Tesla doens't fix this car, I'm taking them to court, no joke, I have no elasticity on this one!!!!

this is the most Un-American, American Made product I got.

I dunno if a lot of people had had or are having similar issues.

FYI my Vin is in the 66K and more.

2 pics are just examples of that outrageous sloppiness.

$80K? Try $120K! I picked up my CB at the same location so I understand. They just point outside and say “it’s out there with your name on it.” I didn’t even know how to drive it and learned as I left the lot. ? However, I haven’t had that many issues, though I don’t have a baseline for what “normal” is regarding wind noise, motor sounds, and trim alignment since I don’t have another CT to compare to. I’ve had a few very minor issues and Tesla has resolved all of them for free. These are still an early generation of a completely different vehicle and so it’s not exactly fair to compare with their cars as far as quality goes, however, if their service center is refusing to resolve issues, that’s frustrating and is on them.

I love vehicle pickup day. I don’t have time to go over buttons as I’m already overwhelmed. there’s maybe 5 mins total of human contact so it’s quite efficient imo. Cheers cyberstocker

I so very much agree with what you said concerning the experience of owning the truck and the quality of the vehicle out the door. It’s like they don’t get it or they just don’t care.

For that reason and some other non-technical reasons that we all know about, I am so sorry I purchased the cyber truck. Like you this was my third Tesla and unfortunately, I think it will be my last if things don’t change.

We all knew there were massive new innovations with the cyber truck and to go along with those innovations you have to expect some hiccups. We were almost like beta testers, and I’m OK with that but we are well beyond that stage. More like alpha testers. The truck simply wasn’t ready to be mass produced. There’s no other explanation. But now that it’s out they need to address a lot of these issues that we all have in common. For example, that front motor whining noise (Cyberbeast) is driving me absolutely crazy. You’re right … there’s the “cool“ electric motor noise and then there’s what we have. Front doors that had to be replaced because pieces were falling off inside. Doors that were horribly misaligned when they were reinstalled. Now I have a CV joint in the front that’s failing and starts clicking when I make turns. Multiple visits back to fix things that were supposed to be corrected on the first go around. And that’s just the beginning of my list.

Completely unacceptable.

This is one of the highest quality builds ever seen in auto manufacturing. I’m not sure what you did to your Cybertruck. But Elon said sub 10 micron accuracy and he meant it.
Well, you have the most unique cyber truck on this forum. Most of us have pieces of crap that have the build quality of a 1970s Ford pick up.

Tesla's delivery experience sucks. Feels like once they get your $$$$ your unimportant to them. This after doing it three times. They could at least make sure they are cleaned. The Cybertruck windshield was so foggy it was difficult to even see.

I have heard so many horror stories on delivery but have purchased two Telsas in the past year and both were smooth as butter. Have been very lucky. Walked in and out with the cars in 15 minutes. One of best car experiences in my life. But....close friends have had nightmares.

I don't know where you got that idea. My observation is most of us have nearly perfect builds with nothing more than very minor inconsistencies that only matter if you want to nitpick minor variations. Sure, there will always be exceptions, but Cybertrucks with more than minor variations are a small minority.

BTW, it's "Cybertruck", not "cyber truck".

Same here. We've had 4 new Teslas delivered and every one was a wonderful experience. I always look forward to it.

Of the thousands that have been sold and delivered, I call BS. “Most have pieces of crap”. Get a grip. Sure you had one of their misses. But no manufacturer ever has that I am sure. The Lemon law only exists for Cybertrucks correct?

I have only had one issue and that was water in the tonneau/tailgait switch causing it to not work all the time, which they promptly fixed in the time for me to take the rental to chick fil a and back.

complaining about your experience is fine and warranted as is sounds rough, but speaking on behalf of 70k (or whatever) other Cybertruck owners is ridiculous
