I’m in WA too (South King co) and ordered 10/4. No vin yet. Did you finance it? I’m using Tesla financing and wondering that’s what’s dropping me down the list. I had a day one reservation , and I put my order in within 20 minutes of getting 10/4 non FS email.
I was able to do cash. And initially I was planning a trade-in. The only other thing than geographically, that I can think of is trim packages. I went Grey and AS tires. Did you do the same? Maybe they were in the middle of pushing out that trim package at the time...
The trim difference will probably cause a slight delay. But you will enjoy the options long after you've forgotten the waiting, in getting your truck...
Im paying cash. I really doubt they are prioritizing deliveries by financing vs cash - to me it really seems like batch production coupled with geographic location and a sprinkle of RN number. A delivery truck only has so many available spaces heading towards a center and they pack them with customer orders beyond Cybertrucks, ie. MS/3/X/Y.
Like I said I was having a hard time quoting. I was replying to a different post. Are you also in Washington? Commenter I was speaking to ordered same day, same trim, paying cash, and got VIN immediately.
Pre-ordered initially at the announcement so I imagine that is why we got emails to order non foundation series recently
