Non foundation VIN to delivery timeframe?

Using my phone, I use the "reply" link, at bottom of post I'm interested in. I've also selected text in a post, then hit "reply" pop-up. "Quote" allows for quoting multiple posts. But I don't have any experience with it.

Im paying cash. I really doubt they are prioritizing deliveries by financing vs cash - to me it really seems like batch production coupled with geographic location and a sprinkle of RN number. A delivery truck only has so many available spaces heading towards a center and they pack them with customer orders beyond Cybertrucks, ie. MS/3/X/Y.

Has anyone with an RN above 12052xxxx received a VIN for a non-FS order? If so, when did you order?

Hi, I ordered my NFS Cybertruck on 10/9 after getting the invite a few days earlier. To my surprise Vin came in 2 days later (a Friday). I quickly took out insurance against the vin and on Saturday I received an option to choose a delivery date as early as Monday 10/14 which I chose with skepticism. I in fact received my NFS CT on 10/14 exactly as ordered! I live in New Mexico. Love it so far ?

I feel like if they gave us a better purchasing window more transactions would close.

Transferring money take about 2-3 months. Most people need to sell car, sell an asset, pay off bills before being able to purchase. In my case if I had about 1 month I could sell car and assets I could put about 40% down.

usually 45 days is the lead time from order to delivery, VIN usually 2-3 weeks

Paying cash. All paperwork done, insurance obtained, etc. Just waiting on a delivery date now.

I opened a chat with the delivery people through the app and they said "just under two weeks" for it to come from TX to IL. I'm hoping that is just being conservative. I'd rather take the CT on my hunting trip on the 28th as compared to the Model S.

For those who have taken delivery, will there be an email or an app notification? I feel like I'm checking every 15 minutes to see if I've been given a delivery date.

Decided to login to Tesla.com on 10/08 and clicked on “configure your Cybertruck” like I had been doing everyday for the past month lol. For my surprise it allowed me to configure a NON FS, which I did. Paid the $250 and got a VIN assigned less than 30 minutes later. Completed all steps in the app including financing. Truck was at the factory schedule to arrive on 10/20 after having been delayed due to hurricane Milton. Located in Miami, FL.

Almost the exact same experience, less the delivery date here in Minnesota. Linked VIN to home charger, and completed all financing and Insurance arrangements.

What is your spec? I ordered 10/05 and still don’t have a delivery date and in fact they pushed it back on their “non-confident” window. I’m Minnesota as well so curious how others are fairing as it seems everyone that ordered between 10/04 and 10/05 has been given a delivery date except me. Ha!

Did you receive a VIN yet? I would call a representative if you have a VIN and it’s not moving forward.

I’m waiting for a VIN. Ordered AWD on 10/12, accepted trade in offer, accepted financing terms, and have all tasks complete at this point. I did send my advisor a question asking when I can anticipate a VIN being assigned, haven’t heard back yet. Delivery timeframe said Oct - Nov when I placed the order. I’m in SoCal. Fingers crossed I get a VIN soon, the wait is killing me lol.
