But, what this final kick in the balls means to put a fine point on it is that there is absolutely nothing, whatsoever, special about the Foundation Series CTs. Nothing!

The logos can be etched on by anyone with a LaserPecker, anyone can now buy the light bar. Early access was not worth it, all we got was shittier hardware and more vitriol (middle fingers and for some— urine). The animated logos are (after the first couple of times) distracting and annoying.

Never, ever, ever, ever, again, Tesla! I’ll watch the company go tits up before I early adopt a product from them again. Optimus? Forget about it! New Roadster? Off the list! Even if it does fly.

No free supercharging, no range extender, no 0% financing, rivets, “can’t even” rails, and on and on and on. The level of abuse and disrespect for those who stood at the front of the line for this truck is categorically unacceptable. It will not be forgiven or forgotten. Not by me anyway.

While I don’t disagree entirely with the general sentiment, you had me laughing so hard at “LaserPecker” I could barely process the rest.

Oh they gave me the nustrutsa twice. Highly effective. Again for the second truck. I had by then perfected the art of asking for them convincingly; with time stamped videos and shit.
Also, ditching the super dumb molle panels that I paid the Chinese guys for and then promptly regretted and cussed out the YouTubers for helped.

The margin on an item like that is good and while pricey for the consumer, you get the advanced integration and support associated with a manufacturer installed option. Nothing ever suggested that the light bar would be a Cyberbeast only option, just an included option. Other than the laser etching, nothing we got was exclusive to the Foundation series

They said it multiple times. Verbally and in print. The last time this came up I posted a screenshot of their page saying that it was only for the foundation series cyberbeast. Not even foundation, generally. Just the CB.

I think they call the silver striping on the floor between the front seats some kind of yacht something or another and I think that was taken out of some models I don’t remember which. But, yeah, at the end of the day Bupkis.

Love the truck. I don’t like that I got suckered into paying a premium for it with half truths and misrepresentations. That’s a one and done. Fool me once shame on me.

Except the novelty and amazing experience of being the first on our blocks with these incredibly polarizing attention getters. For good and for bad.
I’m not being facetious, I truly enjoyed being an early owner and since I try teach my children that experiences are way more valuable than possessions, it would be pretty hypocritical to agree that we got nothing.
Definitely agree on the “why not sell it?” too. It goes back to another lesson I repeatedly try to impart on them; “it doesn’t make it any less fun for you if the other kids also have fun”.
Practice what you preach is the only honest way to parent in my opinion.
It’s true they said “only for the FS cyberbeast but that was true while the FS was a thing and in fact did not specify “cannot be installed or sold on anything other than the FS Beast”.
It could have easily meant “only comes with the FS cyberbeast” which isn’t untrue.

Love the sleek look of the lightbar. This'll be at the top of my list now that I got the terrestrial armor (more for road hazards than propa rock crawling). Just need to look into "how much of a PITA will it be to have a light bar in PA"

I’m curious, when you click on the link can you get it in the app? I briefly had a pop-up that said none of your vehicles are eligible for this until it seemed to have realized that I did have a cyber beast and cleared the way.

Just one/two days ago they were telling people that they would not install this for them because they didn’t have a cyberbeast. It all seems very chaotic right now.

Thank you for checking. I don’t begrudge anybody being able to buy this. But like someone else said above we were sold a bill-of-goods on this as a reason we should get the FS/CB. I would’ve gotten it either way, mind you, but still …
