Post wiper motor recall -- wiper alignment : no longer moves to the far left side of the windshield location?

Just left a Tesla service center. They can absolutely fix this by adjusting one notch over. They did it with mine and now the wiper is back to its original position.

Let us know after about a few days to a week if it stay aligned. At 65 mph you should see it move to a more vertical position (more aerodynamic).

It’s does but not to the extreme where it’s visible over the clear glass.

Copy, pre recall mine used to go vertical near the edge where the windshield meets the frame of the car now it moves just out of view of the clear glass

I'm taking mine in tomorrow. My wiper always parks in this position making the already bad blind spot on left turns worse. Hopefully, it's an adjustment as others have said.

Has anybody found a fix for the twitchy wiper while in Auto? My wiper was perfect but the SC still replaced it 2 days ago, and now it's doing the twitchy jerk motion while in Auto but doesn't actually wipe anything.

The most recent software releases - up through today - oct 8 - have not fixed this for me. Anyone else solve this - if so - how? If the service center fixed it - did they do it by replacing the wiper motor or taking the wiper arm off and realigning with the arrows on the windshield.? Appreciate the help.

Same problem here. I have Tesla coming to see me in a little over a week to hopefully fix it.

Use the wiper position marks on your windshield to check for the correct rest position of the wiper with the car parked and off.

Here is what mine looked like after the wiper recall service was completed. The mark is faint and hard to see in the photo, so I added the red circle to highlight it. You can see that the wiper's rest position was 1.5 inches off, towards the passenger side.

I sent the photo to the SC via the Tesla app and asked them to tell me if that position was "within spec" according to their service manual. Their response was, "bring the truck back to us and we'll put you at the front of the waiting line and make it right. They did just that. Now it's sitting right on the mark when the wiper is off and parked.

Same issue. Replaced motor yesterday for recall, now it sites to the right blocking visibility. I would like to think I can just fix it myself using the service manual. It looks like you simpley remove the arm with the one nut, and change the alignment by where it sits on the splines of the motor axis.

With that length, I would think probably just one notch would get it back on the mark.
