Powershare $2500 is a gift card balance now

I just took delivery yesterday (8/13) at approximately 11am. About an hour after I finished delivery, I got an email saying my Powershare $2500 promotional balance is added to my account and it shows up as a gift card balance

This was after placing my initial order of "must haves"

PSA - When you go to checkout, you have to select the Gift Card under the payment section drop down, not under the "Add Gift Card" The UI is a little confusing..

Nice to see this update, even if it doesn't apply for us who took delivery before the change. I'm going to hold out for the off-road light bar...which will probably go out of stock in 11 seconds and then take 4-6 months to arrive for installation if my spare tire (two+ months post-order now) is any indication.

You just know those will be in-stock for 2/3 of a second and at different places in the space/time continuum, haha!!

Really hoping they bring this change to prior voucher holders so I don't have to buy 50 beanies to make up the difference, haha!!

Been 2 months and no voucher or giftcard yet. Got an email today telling me I can contact Qmerit, but I did that 2 months ago and have everything approved. Email states that I won't get a voucher unless I cancel my powershare install, Qmerit states I need a voucher to buy equipment myself to provide them.

Question: Has anyone been able to contact Tesla (please stop laughing at me, haha!!) to see if they're willing to switch a $2,500 voucher to a $2,500 gift card balance?

As usual, I'm running into dead end after dead end.

No option for me to select gift card under the payment section. Still only a voucher. I'm afraid to try it out.
