Oh, so you can't answer the question.
You keep moving the goalposts.

I already answered the question. I don't know why you're picking so many arguments the last month... Things have pros and cons, and just because you're aware of a subset doesn't mean you have the whole picture.

Sorry, I missed your answer, where are your specs for the houses that I showed?

Sorry, I missed you posting their circuit layouts.

Or offering to pay for my time, Mr wants to power a house that's a neighborhood of houses.

Look at message #59.

When I pay $5M for a house, I don't want the A/C or pool to turn off when the power goes out.
If anything, party mode should turn on!

Okay. Then pay for batteries that are commensurate.

I don't see the problem.

Waiting for your circuit layout and payment for services.

Hey, you're the salesperson. You are the one that says it can be done.

It's amazing how much you had to say until it came to put up or shut up.

You're the one saying broadly batteries don't work.

You didn't bother to support your position. You have brought no numbers. Just bullshit. I actually looked up the numbers for your claims and posted them back in another thread, yet you continue with your 'but we can't be bothered to actually manage our energy consumption' arguments.

A pool is thermal mass, it doesn't need to run 24/7. It can be matched to the coasting of your energy production - heated by your solar in the day, it doesn't need much to make it through the night.

A large home just needs to be insulated to maintain its temperature. Using proper awnings can change the thermal delate absorbed or shed by the building. They don't even need to be fancy or change the look of the building - just be functional instead of faux. This is what hurricane shutters did before they just became painted eyebrows on windows.

On top of planning and connecting energy consumption - which you apparently think having money means you don't have to do - don't come crying to me when the fuel truck doesn't show up. Which is what happened to the big mansions in the neighborhood behind mine idling their idiot generators for a week when they weren't using that much power.

And no, customers not willing to pay for work shouldn't be given freebies.

You evidently have no freaking idea how life is outside of Santa Cruz.

I've given many numbers showing that they don't add up.

A pool does need to run 24/7, at least the pump. And your thermal mass heat can dissipate quickly on a cool night. And that hot tub will cool very quickly! It's basically constant energy to keep it at 104 degrees!

Oh, so now you are telling people to build their homes differently to do it. I thought that ANY home could do it. Awnings on windows? ROTFLMA, not going to happen!

While I'm on propane now, my last house had natural gas on which I could run forever (minus oil changes)

I guess you feel that it is okay to be a pauper when the power goes out. Again, others aren't so don't assume that they will do as you do. Each their own.
