PowerShare return without credit

I ordered a PowerShare unit and universal wall charger using the $2,500 Foundation Series credit. The Tesla recommended installer said it was incompatible with my home electrical system as I have a whole home generator. Tesla accepted the return of both units but gave me only a ≈$500 credit on my credit card. Attempts to contact Tesla has failed. They have extremely poor customer service. Does anyone have nuggets or anything else that I could use to resolve this issue?
