Yesterday, my truck finally got PowerShare enabled after the PowerShare equipment was installed about 5 days ago. I was super excited and couldn’t wait to have my first real home power outage. Well it turns out that I didn’t have to wait long, today the power just went out for the whole city block. The Cities power has been stable all year long and today it wasn’t, what are the chances of that? The house lights at home shutoff and my first thoughts were, did the electricians not hook something up right. First thing I checked was the breaker panel, and everything looked fine. I then checked the ring app and saw several people reporting power outages. I was just so happy to see that because it meant my truck could power my house, but I remember I didn’t have my truck plugged into the charge. I quickly ran to the truck and plugged it in. Within about 30 seconds of handshaking, my whole house was powered back on. Looks like the reports are saying the city power will be out for another 4 hours.
The cybertruck has become more useful than I could ever had imagined. Thanks Tesla!
