Open an LLC
No need for an LLC to take ethe credit, corporate vs individual status is irrelevant. Just need a business - individual (schedule Cm F, etc.), corporation (LLC, Sub-S, etc.) or partnership

Right. Tesla, compared to traditional auto makers, has a far more advanced logistical system. You go to the local Tesla store or place an order online for a vehicle with the options you want. Tesla receives the order, finds or makes a vehicle with the desired specs, and delivers it promptly.

With traditional auto makers, it's different -- you pick from whatever the dealer has in stock. If your local dealer doesn't have the vehicle you want, you simply try a different dealer. In theory, you could place a special order for the vehicle you want, but in practice, it will take weeks or months to arrive, so this is a last resort.

So traditional auto dealers have an incentive to keep large numbers of vehicles on the lot at all times. If Dealer A doesn't have the vehicle that a customer wants in stock, the customer will simply go to Dealer B, and Dealer A will lose the sale.

Tesla stores don't have that incentive. If Tesla Store A doesn't have the right vehicle on the lot, they can get it promptly. And even if nearby Tesla Store B does have it on the lot, and the customer goes there instead, it doesn't matter; both stores are owned by Tesla, so Tesla gets the sale either way.

So Teslas should not be piling up on the lots. And for S3XY vehicles, they aren't. I just checked Tesla inventory for new or demo 2024 vehicles within 25 miles of downtown Los Angeles. I literally could not find a single 2024 S3XY in inventory. But I found forty 2024 Cybertrucks. Agree that it's not the end of the world, but it's clearly unusual for Tesla.
There are MANY old-version MY’s available. I saw three car carriers full of MYs on I-95 near Ft. Lauderdale two days ago, still with factory plastic protection.

This is me with Hurricane Beryl and my F150 7.2kW generator powering my house. 7.2kw for me is plenty for basic. I was able to power a window AC unit during the day and my master bedroom central AC unit (13 amps) at night…along with live outlets, 2 refrigerators, and lights.

I don’t need Powershare…just use the CT’s bed outlet and plug into my Generac sub panel and i am good to go. :)

Nice
I used to use my lightning too but I have an interlock and had to modify due to ground fault

nice benefit with the CT is no ground fault and no need for transfer switch

interlock works great

Not in inventory there aren't.
Yes, they are in inventory. Tesla does not list all inventory online. I physically have seen hundreds of inventory vehicles while purchasing my CT and ‘26 MY last month. The only way to gain access to the online inventory listing is at a sales center.

Huh. Your public profile indicates that you are in central Texas. At this time, it looks like there may not be any discounted $71,990 Cybertrucks in Texas. Maybe Tesla cleared its inventory in Texas already.

Here's one in Oklahoma City. Lots in California.
Tesla does not list most of its inventory online. Only a few representative examples. You have to see the list, and to get the actual availability, physically go to a sales center.

Good point, for me the main focus is we’ll pump, septic pump, furnace and lights

I also have natural gas for heat and hot water

either way the 11kw is a lot and can likely run almost everything although ac might need at least soft start added to it
I am able to run a 3,500-square ft house using the CT’s 11 kWh, including AC. Mine is new so no soft start required. Even handles the hot tub.

This isn't completely accurate.

Tesla lists all inventory ready for sale online in the resources that have been shown here.

They do not list the following online:

Inventory in transit
Inventory in repair
Inventory processing for sale

Typically SA at a store first look at the public facing online inventory before checking the latter. Those are vehicles ready to go immediately, then the latter, not listed have a wait and potentially aren't available to transfer to your store/region.

Doing random searches with different zip codes around the country and it sure looks like a lot.
How about a random drive through literally any city in the USA and see how many unsold "all other cars besides Teslas" are sitting at car dealerships. I can't believe how overblown this is being. Several thousands of cars not sold distributed over THE ENTIRE USA (population 340.1 million (2024)) is miniscule, insignificant numbers.

That's like comparing the items on shelf with Walmart and Amazon.

They are two completely different models of business Tesla vs a Dealership.

Again, not the end of the world, but pretty bad Tesla has thousands of CTs from 2024 that they cannot move. That's like nothing we've seen before with Tesla since they started.

I ran my house for days off a 6kW generator.
Powershare is 11.5 kW.
No, it won't run two 20 year old central air conditioners,
I am able to run a 3,500-square ft house using the CT’s 11 kWh, including AC. Mine is new so no soft start required. Even handles the hot tub.
OK, so like I did mention earlier, I don't know much about electricity and was just going on what the Q-Merit assigned contracted installer told me.

I would be curious to know how long the CT would keep the whole house powered though? I mean, running a whole house on a 6Kw generator for days is possible beause you keep refueling it, right?

Probably only Tesla knows for sure. On April 1, Elektrek claimed...
I felt a lot better once I deleted Elektrek from my internet browser bookmarks and ignored Fred and his FUD.

Very much depends on how your house works. We have gas heat, oven, stove and hot water, so only run three fridges and freezers, lighting and fans plus charging two teslas and maintain a large hot tub. The CT can keep all that going for about ten days. I also have a power wall that could handle a couple more days. An all-electric house would probably run the CT battery to 20% in about three days.

Elektrek's claim was that Tesla had a lot of Cybertrucks in inventory. Check Tesla inventory for yourself and see if it's true.

I just checked for new and demo CTs deliverable to downtown Los Angeles. Results:

- 44 Foundation AWD
- 8 Foundation CB
- 24 Non-Foundation AWD
- 28 Non-Foundation CB

I suspect that this is an undercount, because the inventory system doesn't show duplicates. For example, only one new non-Foundation AWD eligible for the tax credit is shown. There is probably more than one eligible CT in the LA area, but the system only shows the first one.
