Have you watched the Video?This is just like towing a car with an A-frame.
Dog trailers have been around for quite a few years they require a different strategy for backing but significantly less complicated solution than A-frame.
There has to be a reason dog trailers are not popular for amateur use. I hazard a guess the extra complexity and rolling resistance has something to do with it.
This is an interesting solution also.
