I following the instructions, loading it in the root directory and naming it “lockchime.wav” . And it is a good wav file. What am I missing? Is anyone else having a problem doing this?

LockChime.wav *caps

And

less than 1mb?
I’ve tried it both ways, with caps, and without caps. Yes, under one megabyte.

Was the file an actual .wav or did you just rename from another format?

I have done, and some from this site. I’m relatively tech savvy but this is puzzling.

Are there multiple partitions? It technically shouldn't matter which partition gets the file, but I've only tried the "MUSIC" partition. I posted my partitioning instructions here.

The only other thing I can think of is the two-thumbed salute (hold both scroll wheels until the screen reboots).

My thumbnail drive is not partitioned at all. I’ll set up the partitions and see if that solves the problem.

Let me know if you find a solution. I have the same problem. It should be easy to add a file; this is perplexing to have to resort to trial-and-error approaches.

Well, it worked after erasing the thumbnail drive, and reforming it to fat32 but now the dash cam and security files don’t know where to go. I think if I make some directory files for them, that will fix it. I was not able to partition the Tesla thumbnail drive. I don’t know why, but it will not allow it. If anyone knows of a good workaround, please let me know.
