A Tesla Advisor called me today. He said that my truck is being looked at today, according to the service center techs. He said the techs told him that they should have everything on hand that they need. This doesn't sound like a battery replacement. I'm told to check back on Tuesday if I haven't heard from them. Fingers crossed.

ordered my PAWD CT on 04/14, original delivery date was set to 5/9, arrived at the service center but been on hold since then due to software/connectors problem. stuck on "waiting for HQ".

patiently waiting i guess, nothing else to do

That is so frustrating. My guess is that they want to keep our concern for the issue minimized and think that by not disclosing what it is, we'll just wait. It's taking too long though. The lack of transparency for me is a bigger concern now.

It's strange that there are so many different reasons being given to us for the hold All trucks are from the same time period so surely it's the same issue with all of them.

No news as yet … I suggest you check with Tesla on the app messages. They should honor the original offer.

both of my trade in and financing are expired. They will not honor original trade in (more like saying, they will reevaluate, but no need to upload new pics)

Today my eta for delivery (still no vin, ordered mid-April) slipped from the last week of June (1 week window) to late-July to mid-September, a 60-day window.

because of the inordinate delay, they rescinded their original offer for my foundation CT trade-in on a new premium CT order, which has been on hold like everyone else’s. I did resubmit the basic information about the trade-in, but I’m awaiting their reassessment of its value to know whether they will offer me the same amount or not. I hope it’s at least very close. The least they can do given the situation.

I find it a little bit bizarre that there’s no information available about what’s going on. To me, it either means they really could care less about their customers, or it’s such a problematic issue that they’re concerned about the public fallout. Hopefully there’s a permanent fix to whatever is going on. I can wait a bit more, although I know others are in a different situation. I’d still rather wait to get a vehicle that is going to be working well for a long period of time rather than when one going to have to bring to the service center because of known issue that was not taken care of upfront.

I’m certain of one thing and that is Tesla must be more worried and eager to deliver these trucks ASAP and get rid of the potential public fallout risk. Let’s hope for the best.

Yours is the unfortunate case where the truck hasn’t gone into production yet. You are seeing the delivery timeline now which is for the fresh orders placed today (Aug-Sept). Most of us have our trucks at the SCs, almost to be delivered and then held up at the last moment.

Just checked on the Tesla website. New orders PAWD CT delivery stretched out to Sept-Oct now …
