I don’t disagree but how would one know they’re not just swapping VINs among other held trucks?

VINs are already 96xxx and beyond, which in theory have the issue resolved as people are allowed delivery. That’s how you would know. I have an early 95xxx and I think I just met the cut, took delivery in May with no containment hold. Multiple 94xxx and previous VINs have the issue for sure.

Absolutely BS situation that should never happen. I feel for you guys.

How are people viewing their VIN numbers before they're assigned? Ordered my PAWD on 5/22. Delivery was 6/29-6/30 for the longest time, now it's pushed to 8/13-10/8. No one at my SC can tell me what's going on. Literally ghosted lol

It will populate in your app under “vehicle details”. It will be visible directly below your RN number.

The VIN appears in the app once it’s assigned. My order was on 4/18. Still no VIN.
If you mean how are people viewing other order details beyond what the app shows there’s another app called “delivery status”.

As a “father” of a dog, a tortoise, five stray cats, 1 wild raccoon, 1 wild groundhog. I think it is a pretty good Father’s Day surprise. My VIN (originally in insurance page only) is finally showing up in vehicle detail and it is now in transit status.

This is crazy l. If I see mine being push this far. I will ask advisory to rematch a new VIN.

I never had a VIN. Took over 85 days to get my trade-in value, just in time for it to expire well before even the most optimistic delivery date.

I can only hope it's a perfect storm of high demand + low manufacturing and not something more personal.

The excitement has certainly waned. Originally I planned to move a trailer in May with my new truck (no dice). I need to move it again in Oct... the most ironic outcome is the most likely, thus I'll get a delivery date a week after that.
