Wife had a man come up with his mother at a supercharger. She was blind. Holding his elbow as they walked over.

He asked if she could touch the steel, and feel the truck. My wife said sure. They spent about 10 minutes walking around. He would explain a part to her as she would feel it. Both were very happy.

I wasn't there, but shed a few tears at the story

Cybertruck is so amazing-if Tesla came out with regular design pick up truck by now only few people gonna talk. That's Elon's genius!
My common reply is "only from the mind of a rocket scientist"

Had that setup for the wife once, and it did not go so over so well
I set my wife's MY up with the screaming goat... Figured she would change it right away. Five months later, it's still there. And, it still makes me giggle when I walk away. My truck will have the same sound... someday... Where's that VIN?

Small town here. Kids are great. I've been most surprised by the reactions from women, maybe 60 and above. They all seem to like it and comment positively. Didn't expect that group to be ? positive.

Yeah, living with the Cybertruck in public has made me wonder where the narrative that most people think it's ugly even came from. Most people love it, partly because it's different, partly because it looks like something out of a sci-fi movie.

The Tesla haters even lie to themselves, most of them secretly love it, but they are trying to convince themselves it's ugly. But resistance is futile, people are gonna like what they like.

We don't have many of them in Indiana so pretty much 100% of the people are seeing it for the first time, here are a few frequent comments...

Who makes that?
Did you build it?
So it's electric?
Where are all the controls?
Can you get those wipers at Walmart?
It opens like a microwave!

I have to say it is fun meeting people and getting their thoughts. Nearly all of them like it.
This is pretty much what I've been experiencing in rural NW MN too :)

I was stopped at a signal light and slowly made my right turn. As I was turning, I saw a Mercedes-Benz G-Class stopped in traffic. With all its windows down. The father (driving) signal to his child in the back seat.
His kid held up a large toy CyberTruck (about 18" long) up to the window for me to see.

I am thinking this kid really loves the CyberTrucks! This had me smiling and made my day.

Yesterday I parked on the street and was awaiting someone on a bench we few feet away, so I got to enjoy some unvarnished reactions, mostly positive and full of excitement.

The best one was "well, at least now I know they're real" :ROFLMAO:

My favorite is when people start talking to me about the truck and they don’t know it’s mine.

Also, my kids daycare they run up yelling Cybertruck almost every day. One day a kid said it’s ugly, and I asked him if his Mom said that.

A recent one for me was and older gentleman stopped me in a parking lot as I was getting in and said “what is that, is it from China?” I said it’s a Tesla Cybertruck and it’s made completely in Texas here in the US. His reaction was just disbelief that it even existed. Pure gold.

Another older guy in the passenger seat of a car motions for me to roll down my window at a stop light. His questions… What is that? Is it electric? Who makes it? Repeats Tesla Cybertruck back to me like he’s processing it.

Most reactions fall into categories I’ve found.
1) Know what it is and have never seen one in person
2) Know what it is and have seen one, but maybe not up close
3) Have no idea what it is or who makes it - these generate the funniest conversations.

The recorded Sentry Mode videos are family entertainment every time we go somewhere. I do wish there was audio.
