They better have committed before taking my $500 non-refundable deposit ?Or not enough takers and before they commit they want X number of committed buyers?
Decided to add the extender later on down the road, I want to see the bed sacrifice for it before I order.
IKR, but at same time, Raodster is where. They can refund your 500, you just can’t request it back. Wonder what the take rate is for that extender of no one wants it or super small, they will just skip building it and refund. They better have committed before taking my $500 non-refundable deposit ?
I think you'll be waiting forever. The HV connection alone will make it mandatory for a SC to install, plus the weight, software load it will require for the BMS to work on it. I don't see them making a truly removable battery.Rather they execute it correctly. Permanent install isn’t the way. I’d buy one if I can use it when I need it and not use it other times. If I can’t, it’s pointless as the default battery pack but bigger would provide that functionality.
If SC has to remove it, that's fine as people might do it 1 or 2 times a year. Just can't be perm like the lightbar attached to the windshield, where you would need to get a whole new windshield to uninstall the lightbar lol.I think you'll be waiting forever. I forgot that Wes said this in response to will it be easily removable. If SC has to remove it, that's fine as people might do it 1 or 2 times a year. Just can't be perm like the lightbar attached to the windshield, where you would need to get a whole new windshield to uninstall the lightbar lol.
And no room for the spare tire, definitely is a no no for me.The range extender takes away the truck/hauling capacity and I have zero interest base don that alone!
