Has anyone tried to remove the rear diffuser? I'm thinking about removing it. Pros? Cons?

Thank you for the suggestion, but I hate these sloppy add-ons

You know, I need to take my words back, I looked at the link you sent me and actually is not bad, at first I thought it was some kind of silly aero attached with 3M tape, but actuallly is a replacement of the whole diffuser. I wish they had a flat one, I don't like the bulkiness of it.

Respect. Takes real character to own mistakes like that.

So, I did it and I'm 1/2 happy and 1/2 not so happy. Tell you why, it looks like the truck was design to have this diffuser. The cables feel so unprotected that I'm afraid a random dude will just rip everything in 2 seconds. See the pictures.

I love this look and like many others wish someone would just make a flat “delete” kit

Since Cybertruckco stuff (which is awesome) has been brought up, this will probably provide the look and clearance you’re after but spendy.
https://cybertruckco.com/product/heavy-duty-offroad-rear-bumper/

Thank you for sharing! I did see that one but now that I'm paying more attention I can see that they did something with the cables that doesn't look like they are too exposed, I might try something. I love all these products, BUT I'm trying to keep the truck as light as possible, I love the terrestrial armor, the stainless steel bumpers etc, but the weight it adds is incredible. I want my CB to be like a feather, :)

This is what I'm referring to, note the differences. (I talked to the cybertruckco people the other day, and they say the welding now is excelent)

I have found no reason to remove it.

As part of the aero design of the truck, one "con" is that it will slightly reduce your highway range. Reconnecting the airflow at the back of the vehicle is more important (to Cd) than the shape of the front of the vehicle.
