Yep, too big for my puny printer will try the smaller version temporarily
note: might be able to print it vertically, don't know yet, as the smaller version is currently printing

The smaller one ain't bad. In fact if you stay in 1.25X magnification it isn't any different. And you can find the 5x20 mirrors already cut to size.

It is currently printing in Grey PETG (what I happened to have handy)

I did find the magnets in quantity 8, in stainless steel (or black, your choice)

Wife has wisely advised that I run a test print before doing all three. Years together have taught me to listen (for the most part). Printing one now along with the cover. Printing in black but ordered more filament in silver. If all goes well might make some to match wraps, too.

I had published a previous version of this. I recently dropped it on the floor and it broke so I took the opportunity to improve the design a bit. Now it is more streamlined, provides more visibility and is tougher (can withstand a drop). I originally called this a goofy project but honestly it is one of my favorite, most-useful 3d printed accessories for the truck. Model can be downloaded for free here:

You will need a large-format printer such as the PrusaXL to print the 5x30 version which is recommended for maximum visibility. However, I did also provide a 5x20 which works well enough and can be printed on a standard 3d printer.

This is really neat! I'm interested in the shelf you have with the spare tire. Was that DIY? If so, how did you make it?

FYI, printing the smaller version uses 326.43grams of filament, that is about 1/3 of a spool.

Something Bluey suitable? I kid. I would be pretty darn happy with anything that would allow me to use the camera with the tailgate down. Brilliant design.
