Man, I just don’t get it. I’ve tried using that link 4 times now & no joy. I copied my VIN from the app & pasted it into the search box, but the search button itself is dead. WTH?

My inverter and controller failed in July. My truck is from Feb line. It Was replaced and programming had to be done. So since mine was in the date of these vehicles built with faulty parts I will be getting a second one installed. It's a 14hr ordeal so, get ready for a two day loaner.....

Mines affected and no service until January. I was planning to take a couple of road trips before then.

Mine failed and was replaced on Oct. 3rd. I have an appointment this Monday, Nov. 18th, for an unrelated issue, but the inverter recall propagated my service appointment. I let them know it was replaced on Oct. 3rd, but Tesla wants to make sure I have the right part installed. Guess I'll find out on Monday.

Almost flip when I saw Nov but from 2023. Hope late 2024 build are solid. Empathy for early Foundation owners.

Just had mine replaced, it was super easy. I have a Tesla close by though. Made an appointment on the app which was for Nov 26, but messaged the service team after the appointment was made using the App. They said to just bring the truck in. I took it in the next day, they gave me a X to drive and the truck was done the next day. So, pretty quick turn around for not knowing I was coming in.

1. For the latest recall, did they replace both front and rear inverts again or just the front because your rear inverter was recently replaced?
2. Did they replace the inverters only or the entire drive unit(s)?

I had my rear one replaced after it died. But I'm still listed on the recall and I think it's because they will replace the front inverter or maybe the drive unit.

Mine is vin 14xx, delivered in feb. Failed yesterday, truck still drove but this morning truck is completely dead. Getting towed to service center in the next hour

I had my front drive unit replaced on my beast because it wouldn’t reach 130 mph.

Now looks like I need all three Drive inverters replaced.

I don’t know if any of you have looked at the service manual but they essentially take the entire truck apart in order to reach these inverters.

My truck is finally looking the way I want it. My service team is tremendous but I am still nervous

they just replaced the rear only, but the recall wasn't issued yet. I am going to take it in next week to have them fix the gear shifter trim that keeps coming loose, so curious to see if they change the front inverter as well. I haven't heard of any of the front ones failing though. Not sure what the difference is between them.

March 2024 delivery, no issues but on recall list for inverter. At shop today being fixed along with few other items.

Update: Drop off the CT at the service center Monday morning. My list of repairs is to fasten the WIPER APPLIQUATE ASSEMBLY correctly (wasn't done during the wiper recall), inspect the rear drive inverter to ensure the correct part was installed, rear drive inverter was replaced beginning of October, replace the front drive inverter per SB-24-40-009. Initially, I was told the part for the front drive inverter was not in stock and would need to schedule another appointment for November 25th. Guess I got lucky, but we'll see. All should be completed by Wednesday afternoon. Given a Model X as a loaner.
