I know the recall is for all, but I wonder if the affected vehicles are the ones who went through the extreme cold.As someone who had his fly off in middle of Chicago traffic, get it done..
If I follow youSide note, as someone who picked up a 34,5XX model back in September, I'm semi shocked we're only up to 46,0XX. Based on Joe's drone videos, I thought we'd be in the 85,000's now...
lol oh snap. The only part of the truck I had wrappedRIP my wrap
Dude, I would return the truck.Hopefully they don’t put an external rivet in the cant rails like they did to the go pedal…
If they did your wrap then I think they will fix it, otherwise no, and in reality, you can re wrap the rail yourself. It's a flat piece that is easy to do.Doesn’t Tesla have responsibility for those of us with wraps to recover the cost of the re-wrap?
gotcha. If I knew what i was doing I wouldn’t worry about it. But I’m not. And given this is a manufacturer defect, seems to me they are responsible. If they did your wrap then I think they will fix it, otherwise no, and in reality, you can re wrap the rail yourself. It's a flat piece that is easy to do.
If mine gets done, I'll ask the shop that did mine and if it's too much, I'll just do it myself.
Not even a maybe.Doesn’t Tesla have responsibility for those of us with wraps to recover the cost of the re-wrap?
I'm a VIN 9440 Beast and the website doesn't list any recalls. You can paste your VIN here (https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls) and it will tell you if you are affected. Let us know! Mine is earlier and is definitely affected.
