far as I can tell, every person here who has requested a trade-in estimate towards a CT through the CT page, and provided their phone number for contact, has received the same text response from Tesla




seemed pretty straightforward to me

the trade-in information was already provided through the website

why it’s talking about the CT is also pretty straightforward: we we’re on the CT reservation page with a trade-in link, and when filling in the trade-in fields have to select what vehicle(s) we’re interested in trading in towards.

so we have a CT reservation, and have told them we’re looking to trade in towards a CT

The things that odd to me is that I got an entirely different message. It was more personalized (I believe).

Another thing that confused me was the different number from what I’ve seen others posts. Maybe it’s a regional thing, but I’m not sure.

Maybe you indicated interest in more than the CT somehow? So you got more of a humanoid salesperson than a automated corporate response?

It is from local sales center. I put in for trade in with the new Tesla reservation page and got the same text.

Also from same number I received my model Y pick text over a year earlier.

Lol, no I did not. I imagine near the end of 3rd qtr sometime there may be trucks at sales centers though to test drive.

C, I didn't. Was about 3 to 4 days later just the email. I am going to IM you shortly with a question.
