What I figured. I reached out to service center but crickets. I may schedule a appointment to another. Problem is the all at least an hour away to only have same issue once it's returned.

I had this done and came home with an extra bar across the rear window? I still can't get an answer if it's correct or a new blunder. I still have ingress. I think all I need was the new sail with rubber flap.

Think I saw you post this before. It made me check mine after I had the 1 slat added. My bar does cover the rear glass but only at the top of the glass. Yours looks like the slat is also covering the window.

To be honest, I might ask the service center about it but I may not care because when the tonneau is closed, I can’t see through the rear window anyway. And I doubt I’ll ever need to regularly turn on the bed lights to look through the window and see into the bed.

I never checked if a bar crossed the window pre-tonneau service but I imagine it did not.

Here’s a poorly lit picture of mine. I can get you a better pic if you’d find it helpful.

I had this service done this weekend. Took it straight to a car wash and it’s still leaking although much less. I did notice the back window looked different from the tailgate view but haven’t taken a close look.

Let us know if the bar covers part of your window.

Dang. You're right. I didn't really notice I have a slat also covering window. I focused on bar.

Right now mine only leaks in the car wash. Rain and even heavy rain doesn’t ingress as I replaced the seal with a more heavy duty one early on. I will be taking it to the car wash probably on Wednesday for testing.

so I get to the appointment today and they inform me that parts aren't available. I had this appointment scheduled for over a month. They ordered parts and rescheduled for later this month.

It sure does. Second pic is of the water that was in there after the rain today. Not bad but still not waterproof.

The location of your bar looks like mine.

Are we sure that the bar didn’t cover the window before the extra slat was added?

I’ll probably just mention it at my next service center appointment but I don’t really care because when the tonneau is closed, I’ll never look through the rear window. If I ever need to, it’ll probably not really matter.

I don’t remember it but there are a ton of others on here that haven’t gotten the service done that can confirm.

I agree, not worried about it since I can’t see out anyway.

I also read the service manual more carefully, and there's a "note" about where to install the "fixation tubes" so that it doesn't block the rear window.

Looks like how mine only blocks a small portion of the top of the rear window is normal.

Thanks, again, for pointing out this detail @mongo!
