My RN : RN11339
Thanks, I just checked my account and the 'Foundation Series' is still being pushed.

KInda tempting with all the extras like FSD included.

Very interesting marketing strategy going on.
Both of my RN's are being offered orders.

I’m waiting to see what they say about the wind whistle above 55 MPH.

And for the tech to say that there is only 1 CT technician is nonsense. The techs are cross-trained across all vehicle types. I think the service tech you mentioned is being non factual in an attempt to assuage. He was the one that said my roof glass was fractured at delivery when I know that I returned the CT with the roof glass INTACT about a month post-delivery for the windshield replacement. He either bald-faced lied to me or was mislead by another technician, and it really heightened my wariness. My roof glass was fractured when the SC went about replacing the front windshield.

And my windshield has been replaced two times now. The first for an imperfection at delivery that was a weird fracture on the interior glass but not the exterior. But when they replaced it the first time they placed it too low, by about 1/8th of an inch, causing the ceiling shifter to not connect with its mounting hole. One touch of the sunshades and the ceiling shifter would fall out, twirling by its electrical wires. And they tried to return it to me in that condition. Certainly the techs reassembling everything had to know, because the slightest movement of the sun visor made the ceiling shifter fall down and dangle.

But they had to replace the front glass twice.

The second time they replaced the front windshield the header was not completely installed, as at least one of the brackets was crushed reinstalling it, and now it is rattling on rough-ish roads.

I’m hoping that there is a learning curve going on at Raintree with the CT.

But I might make appointments in Tempe, Mesa, or Glendale in the future if things keep going the direction they have been.
I’m also hoping it’s just a learning curve here but man, a lot of this is just attention to detail and follow through. Especially with something like a windshield that isn’t much different than any other Tesla besides of course, size. You shouldn’t come out with more problems than when you first dropped off the truck.
I talked with the tech today about some bubbling in the LED strip on the doors and they’re trying to blame it on the window tinting. My tint shop who’s done many CTs/ new Model 3s has never seen that. Plus, one of the windows had not been tinted due to a cracked corner but still has the bubbling problem. Raintree isn’t budging.
They are refusing to fix a couple items that were noted 2 days after the 1 week period. I was told at delivery that they are lenient on warranty items since it’s a new model plus I let them know I’d be out of town and wouldn’t have much time to look over the car completely post delivery.

Looks like I’ll be making a visit to Tempe. I hope your items get resolved once and for all.

Dude! Sorry that you are also seeing issues with service at Raintree.
I can’t logically connect how window tinting affects the LED strips on the doors. Total non-sequitor. The two things don’t come in contact with one another. Crazy!

I inquired if Tesla would buy back my CT and let me have delivery on my second reservation. They said no. They said to see about trading it in, but others on this forum have said that Tesla is not taking CT trade-ins.

My guess is they probably don’t want negative press for offering a low-ball amount when they are selling them at such a marked-up amount.

I love the modularity and handling of the truck. But service has been less than stellar.

Still don't get it. How did you edit your order? There's no such an option. Only cancel the order...
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I thought I was the only person to only have the cancel button and no edit button. I was thinking maybe it was an Android phone thing. (Pixel 8 pro)
