It seems reasonable that they will make some early in quarter for regulatory and production-process reasons. Months ago Elon said probably a few deliveries by end of year. Crash-test dummies etc have to be done before can do any actual deliveries.
I hope you are right but I've been watching the Giga Texas build videos nearly every day and remember the first 6k Giga Press taking between one and two months from the start of installation to before it started spitting out test castings.

I can tell you are no dummy. I can see 1.2 million reservation holders will be cheering you on, when all news outlets are showing police cars and helicopters chasing that CT on the highway. Only we know who the crash dummy driving it is. Take a Tri-motor, make sure it is fully charged and take it off road. They won’t be able to keep up.
Well… The CT is amazing but I doubt it can outrun helicopters and radio signals. But it would certainly be interesting to see one try.
what is the fuel load for the helicopter vs CT3.....I get it is less range in the woods, but a helicopter (Huey Type) has about 3hrs fuel before bingo
