If you watch the video, he is saying they would be crazy to take Elon out. But he felt Elon was accepting the criticism, and somewhat agreeing that he needs to put more focus on Tesla. Like Elon said in his tweet. I agree, Elon Tesla needs Elon to be focused and a driving force for Tesla, but also he needs to delegate, and have some strong people to work with.
The whole reason behind investor day was for Elon to show the depth of people who work at Tesla. Despite a inspirational leader, the net worth of a company is the employees that work there. Space X and Tesla are ranked number 1 and 2 choice for graduating engineers. Furthermore there is no other Fortune 500 company that has a leader who works as hard as he does or has the developed the work culture that Tesla has. There is nothing more demoralizing than to see people who don't produce anything get ahead in a company because of office politics. Also there is no other Fortune 500 company that is actually doing something for the right reason- not solely for shareholder profits, but to change the world for the better!

from my watching the Twitter thing, it was excess employees that were upset, not customers. coming from retail, not every customer is worth having.

I'd like Tesla's CEO to have the company's mission statement as their main goal. Accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy seems to have fallen out of Elon's top five.
how so? ramping new factories with another in the works? mega pack?
This is not the tweet of a CEO with "Accelerating the world's transition to renewable energy" as his/her top priority...

This is probably something we agreed not to discuss when coming here to talk about trucks.

Tho yeah, antisemitism is not a good look.
