Sentry Screen? Red Eye or Owl?

Does the cybertruck not show anything on the display like other Tesla vehicles when someone gets close to the car? I thought I saw a story awhile ago about a cyber owl screen for sentry mode.

I don’t see anything in the settings and when someone approaches the car no red recording circle appears on the screen like my other Tesla vehicles.

I sat in one at the dealership a week ago and I clicked through everything and remember being surprised by the Owl ON/OFF option. I don’t remember a “Sentry Stealth Mode” in my MY

Also, do you have an installed usb drive? Does the dash cam option work?

Yeah the truck comes with a USB drive and sentry and dashcam work.

Ours showed the owl this weekend when my daughter walked up, did you (or someone else) have a key card or phone with app when they approached?

Hmmm - maybe that’s why. Could have sworn the one time it happened I didn’t have phone or key card on me. Will test again tomorrow.

Yeah, I thought I saw an earlier comment where they noted the usb drive was not installed when they went for delivery. I figured it was worth asking.

Mine shows the owl every time. Haven't seen a setting but also haven't really looked for one. The owl is pretty bad ass looking ?

I went back to the SC today and couldn’t find what I thought I remembered, just the option to turn off sounds and flashing lights. Sorry about that bit of false info.

Hmmm - yes my owl isn’t appearing when I walk up without my phone. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Yeah, the owl turns to look at whatever window the “intruder” peeps in.
