Ok. I’ve never had it occur on any other Tesla I’ve owned hence the concern. I did also precondition as well.
How cold was it when it occured?

-6C (21F). I had preconditioned for about 20 min prior to leaving. This happened about 5 min in.

I had my front motor replaced and then i noticed the other day- but looking back it was like -18c so i wonder if that's what it was- I thought something was seriously wrong. I've decided these trucks don't like the cold- the wind is worse in the cold, the noises- then when it warms up it seems better

Strong crosswinds for sure I've noticed definitely buffet the truck. I've found the heater to be exceptional. I really don't have any complaints - I love the truck! This is just one of those minor oddities. I just wanted to add my latest experience here.

It’s already been stated, but a bit more detail:

This is only felt if the batteries are cold and regen is limited while slowing to a stop with cold brakes, generally first thing in the morning. The somewhat new (in the last few years) option to have the manual brakes kick in if regen is limited kind of hides that fact that regen is in fact limited, but what your feeling is pulsating cold manual friction brakes at low speed. You can recreate this yourself manually by turning off the setting on the “dynamics” tab “apply brakes when regenerative braking is limited”. If you turn this off when the battery is cold, you’ll see a dashed line on the bottom side of the accel/decel indication on the far left of the upper screen while driving. When this dashed line is present, you’ll have to use the friction brakes manually to come to a complete stop. If you apply them ever so slowly when they’re cold, you can feel this very slight pulsating.
