Apply a ceramic coating your windshield and you won't even need to use your wipers that often. I live in Seattle and the ceramic coating helped a lot.

My OEM blade squeals like a dying rat. It's my second one. The rubber just doesn't last very long. That and you know fsd loves to turn on auto wipers which clean the windshield 4x as often as it needs to.

Do you clean it off once a month or so?
I’ve started doing that ever since blades became a more than $30. And they’ve started lasting longer.

i do but it doesnt help that fsd turns on Auto Wipe which goes mad max on wiping ever whenever a gnat pisses, and that destroys wipers much faster

A hydrophobic coating on the windshield significantly reduces wiper wear and squeaks.

I've noticed the wiper "auto" setting is reluctant to downshift, but switching the wipers off/on will usually reset its brain. I've also had luck with running a couple of washer cycles to "change the tempo".

Ahh yes. I use the Rain-X Ceramic-X on the CT and MS. Great addition for rain at least in my experiences. Just don’t apply it under the sun.
