I'm also on the area waiting for VIN. I missed the Charlotte CT display before they pulled the car so I've been calling the Raleigh store every so often and they said they were expecting one within the next week or two.

Well said.
at this point, I don’t understand why CA folks keep jumping over other states? Logistics wise, Tesla is going to have to ship the vehicles everywhere, so why not start now?
what’s the reason for continuing to ship to CA orders and skipping folks in other states? There are plenty of NC orders that could fill up a truck load..
The state with the most reservations is California.
The state with the most Tesla employees is California.
The state with the most X-related companies is California.
The state with the most service centers is California.
The state with the most EVs is California.

California has more Cybertruck reservations than any country other than the US.

C'mon. 'what's the reason'...

Special vehicle lifts had to installed at service centers that are delivering Cybertruck’s. This is one of many behind the scenes improvements that have to me made.

Don't you know? Even though it was 4 years, they still came down to the last minute for the launch.

Hmm... I was just contacting about the powershare installation from an electric company at Cary. Perhaps a sign that the VIN is coming soon!

I hope so. I’m a 12/21 order and when I was talking the the installer they mentioned they had 16 others in the area in their PowerShare contact list.

I get cranky.
Then I remember that I put $100 down for a $70k, 500+ mile, AWD, tri-motor, variant of this truck and to my knowledge they are not delivering those yet.
Then I'm no longer cranky.

I’m a 12/21 California order and received my VIN on February 15th. I’m still waiting for a delivery date. I wasn’t contacted by the PowerShare installer until March 5th. I was curious if there was a correlation between PowerShare installation and delivery but from your comment that’s probably a no. Doesn’t seem to be any connection. They probably just get a list of people who have ordered trucks and work their way through it. 🤷🏾

I was pissed about it but at the end of the day I’ll wait. I don’t wanna be forced to pay 20k ADM under the label of it being a “ special edition foundation series “ just get the vehicle in the order in which my reservation was placed.

Elon is obviously a smart man and found a way to charge a ADM without ppl realizing or caring

Well said! It's also probably the only state with so many Teslas! I can't drive for more than a minute without seeing a Tesla. It's insane. I don't see this level of Tesla density anywhere in the US.

Yes, I think all current owners agree that the FS is a cash grab by Tesla. I fully agree that it’s Tesla’s way of adding ADM.

Once the “normal” Dual/Tri Motors go on sale the FS will start to depreciate because the Limited Edition FS was anything but limited.

Do you wanna be one of the first to own a Cybertruck in your city? You gotta pay the piper.
