What software update would you like to see for the truck? I would like to see being able to keep Wi-Fi off (it automatically turns on after 24 hours) and being able to use walk away door lock with the Apple Watch key. If anyone knows a way around these 2 things it would be greatly appreciated.
I want the rear light bar to spell "thank you" at the push of a button because when the back cover is closed, there is no way to wave "Thank you!", when others are nice enough to let you in line or do nice things in traffic.
As it stands you have to let the window down to wave "thank you" or just be considered ungrateful for the act of kindness.

My wife just gives it a little shove and it closes. But, yeah, it's a 2 touch effort to open the glove box. Could be one. Put a little button over there on the screen.
A button on the screen would also grant unauthorized access.
I’m still wishing for a persistent onscreen button for the glovebox, instead of having to open the entire options screen which blocks navigation, etc.
A glovebox button on the display would also grant unwanted or unauthorized access...

Just finish the job with FSD!!! It is getting old having to make excuses for the truck not performing properly i.e. "oh, no that's not available on the truck, yet..."

When I voice control “wiper off” no more phantom wipes. However, you have to do this every time you engage self driving.
Not true for me I don’t think. I voice command off and eventually the wiper randomly goes back to sitting parallel to the dashboard with occasional wipes.
Maybe it’s FSD related, I don’t know. I engage and disengage it all the time as part of the way I drive. It’s a tool I use most but not all of the time.

It’s one of the best uses I have found for the SEXY buttons in our model x but I don’t think CT is supported with those yet.
Whether it grants unauthorized access then depends on where you put the button

Odd. When I voice command wiper off it stays off even in the rain. I have to manually turn them back on again or FSD will error out due to not being able to see the road

That’s definitely not the case for me. Getting it to stay off has been my problem

Haha. Thank you can also be used to say other things depending on the situation. There is definitely nuance to being an adult.

This has not always been the case. When I took delivery in May 2025, it would not stay off. I would voice command and manually turn them off in settings, but while FSD it would still phantom wipe. If I’m not mistaking the last FSD update put me in the situation I have now.

I'd like the Nav lady to stop saying "right" when the map shows "left". I thought I was hearing wrong until my wife noted it too. It doesn't happen all the time, but it definitely happens.

Daytime running lights need to be user controlled, perhaps with a toggle setting that switches them off when the headlights come on. The DRL serve no purpose once the headlights come on.

Attention to the UX is long overdue. The current experience is embarrassing. For example, why does the information on the top of the screen jump around depending on what the rest of the screen is doing? Why can't you go back a screen from the charging schedule screen to the charge level screen?

Not software, but why, why, why is the USB stick located so that the glove box jams every time you try to close it with more than a few sheets of paper in the bottom? Every. Single. Time. It's next to useless for anything more than insurance papers. 🤦‍♂️

Would be nice to have the garage door button stay on the top of the screen so you don’t have to open the menu to get to it. Homelink button on the x is much easier and doesn’t require opening the menu
