Tesla has been verifying purchaser identities, going as far as requiring a scan of your photo ID to compare to a live camera shot.

The sales contract stipulates that the purchaser is the intended final owner.

Don't hate. There's are those we may want it sooner. I no longer need for it after waiting 5 years for it!
After 5
A look back at the Tesla Cybertruck time capsule when I ordered it. So yeah 5 years give or take.

Give me all your money for an email address and if Tesla says no, then you’re SOL because all sales are final! Completely ridiculous.

You are correct sir! If he would have actually ordered one he would’ve known that.

How does that work for those who buy it as a gift for someone? I'm happy to have them scan my id to make sure the car purchase goes smoothly.

Your post is bit dramatic, dude! Give me all your money?! LMAO! Come on now, this is a business transaction and it's put in your best offer.

Yeah but it’s put in your best offer on a transaction that will never be allowed to happen. Even if you accepted $1, all the person could do is give you a dollar. They still can’t buy the truck.

You obviously don't have a clue what you are talking about.

So nobody should trust you to get anything.

There's already been quite a few transactions that have gone through not just Cybertrucks, but past TSLA models too that have sold reservations. So what gives?

Well this kinda just shows me you don't know what you're talking about if you can't provide an answer to a gifting question. Instead, you dodge it. Hmmm... There are people who do buy Tesla's as gifts for others.

I’m not sure if that’s correct or not but I’ve purchased three Teslas and they have never required me to scan my drivers license AND take a selfie to verify my identity like they did with my Cybertruck order. Tesla is a billion dollar corporation with more lawyers on payroll than you could imagine. You don’t think they thought about this very situation? If anyone is stupid enough to give you money to try and find a back door to that process, they deserve to lose whatever they give you.

Um, well we already figured out that you can't do maths.

So I'm not sure if this will make sense to you either...

If you gift something, you have to buy it with your money first, before you can give away whatever you bought?

You can't give away what you don't own...well not legally anyway. Normal people call that stealing.

But maybe that's the way you roll, up in d hood?
