What about the rear lockable storage? We know it has survived and it isn’t huge but should augment the frunk space. Also, bags sliding around has been an issue in trunks and SUVs forever and people make nets to control that. The CT bed will have ample ways to tie down such a net. Also, the CT will be able to crouch to make it a bit easier to get things into and out. I am not disagreeing with you but wondering aloud if there might be workarounds if the frunk doesn’t meet your needs.
That under-bed storage will be kind of hard to get to. Can you imagine lowering the tailgate, reaching over it to open the under-bed storage, and then reaching down into the bottom of it to retrieve your item?

Turns out your "item" is a porcupine.
Yep, that's a lot of work for not much benefit.

The tailgate may go past 90 degrees since it will also be used as a ramp so it might even go near 180 degrees and let you get better access to the bed and under bed storage. When shown at the peterson the gate did go past 90, so how far we just don't know.

My Rivian R1T has the same underbed storage. It is big enough to store a full size 275/55/21 spare tire.

I had not thought of that but maybe I can come up with a solution.

while I’m not too worried about reaching over the tailgate to grab the odd item - a full sized spare would for sure need getting up into the bed!

I would poke a tire plug in the flat tire and re-inflate it with the on-board compressor as a temporary measure before I would unload the entire bed to get to the spare tire and vehicle jack! You need a heavy duty jack to lift a truck with a GVWR of over 8K lbs! I wonder if Rivian instructs to unload any heavy cargo before using the jack (or is the jack rated to the full GVWR?).

Yup! Nearly 90lbs of dead weight.

The Cybertruck may be able to go full extension on suspension and then minimum extension for the one with the flat. Maybe it can't pick up it's own foot but it can make that A-Arm a lot lighter for jacking up just the A-arm and tire. Maybe that's not as easy as using a Puck location but I've lifted lots of cars by the lowest point of the suspension. (If I'm getting under, I lift by the frame)

Yeah. It'd be a good place for those items you don't need very often though.

Yeah, think Honda Ridgeline with the spare in the bed trunk. Honda does have a badass bidirectional swing gate. To me that is the bomb!

I agree. I would NOT be upset if Tesla did the same.
