That kinda... that looks like a steel break machine. This COULD be what would bend for doors/ body panels on Cybertruck. I've scrolled back and it's been there awhile, but... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think that is a regular stamping press. If you look to the left of it there are some fresh stampings. A CNC break is much smaller, even with an auto loader.

You will know when the brake is installed and being tested as you will see test parts in the daily videos. Until then, I suspect what is shown there is a specialty stamping machine as Joe hypothesized.

The machine in red looks very much like a stamping machine. I’ve seen one very similar in use by Rivian.

Not sure what the blue thing is. Maybe someone who does more assembly line or machine work knows.

He even says on the video that this is the stamping area.

I recall seeing a demo of a CNC Brake that was very cool. It was questionable at the time whether it could support a 20' length at 3mm. Today I was unable to find that video so I did some research on CNC brakes and came up with the following manufacturers that have such a machine:

Jorns AG (Swiss)
=============

http://www.jorns.ru/pdf/Jorns_Gesamt_E.pdf

Super-Line: 6400 mm -> 12,200 mm length, 3 mm steel

Thallman/Cidan TC Double Folder
==========================

https://cidanmachinery.com/us/products/tc-double-folder/

TC300, 6.4, 8.2, 10, and 12
11 ga max (3mm)

DAVI

Davi CNC Automated Up/Down Automated Metal Folding System

I will keep looking for the video that was shared before. It might have been on this forum or another.

It's a giant arm.

I have no idea what's attached to it, though.

K. So I think it's actually the cnc cutting machine for cutting down the raw sheets / punches to then run over to the press.
