Except I am order number 678 and I have NOT been invited. I really doubt they are sequential. And if they are I’m going to be really fucking pissed off! Actually scratch that… I am already really pissed off.

Did you double check your account's address? They seem to being using location data pulled years ago. You might have been skipped for that reason.

Or you missed the email at some point.

Our own poll shows 75% take rate over 100 people. Would be more accurate if more people would fill it out.

Address is correct… always has, been as I own Tesla’s currently. I could not have missed the email, as I check my Tesla account 30000x per day to see if I have gotten the invite. So even if the email went to junk mail (it did not) I would not have missed the ability to configure.

No one official ever said they are only making 1000 foundation units. No one. They'll make a many as they can sell I'm sure.
That doesn’t necessarily contradict the 2% take rate hypothesis. Tesla might make/sell more FS trucks, and the take rate might be higher than 2%, but do you think it will go as high as 10%? I am around 250,000. If the take rate was 5% and Tesla decide to sell 10,000 FS CTs, they might get to me :)

I think that’s part of the problem. Texas and California might have many more reservations and allocations, so they might also be picking based on region or state. Just a thought ?ā€ā™‚

Torque News seems convinced it is only 1000, based on previous Tesla limited editions. But if Tesla makes as many as they can sell, that's not really a "Limited Edition," which Tesla has officially identified the Foundation Series as.

It’s limited as long as it isn’t UNlimited. If there are 2 M reservations, then 10,000 really is limited.

I was pretty annoyed with that video when I watched it earlier tbh.

They randomly still assume it's only 1k.

They totally ignore all the evidence that it is semi random.

They totally ignore the fact that people with later res numbers than them got invited before them .(like Gregor)

They have a whole crew. How are they missing all these things? I'm glad they got on the list but let's be real, this video was either poorly researched or a full cash grab to find the 20k premium.

Guy says to the waitress: "Can I have another plate of shrimp please?"
Waitress: "No more shrimp"
Guy; "I thought this was all you can eat?!?"
Waitress: "If this is all I give you, then it is all you can eat!"

It could be limited like that...

Sure It could. Limited supply. My local BBQ has an ā€˜hours’ sign that says they are open until 7:00 pm, but if they sell out at 3:00 they close at 3:y take was only that ’Limited’ just means finite, not 1,000. Artists do limited print runs, but they are the ones that decide what the limit will be.
