I have a spot on my door that has presumably been there since delivery. I’ve rubbed the door down with BKF a couple of times without success. When looking at it up close, it’s very hard to notice. However, in certain light, it’s very obvious. Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

The only thing I've ever heard of to change spots like that is to re-passivate the entire panel.

Wow, what a weird blemish.

Personally, I'd ignore it. As the truck darkens, it'll be less noticeable.

I was ignoring it. Until today when I saw it in this lighting. Looks like a zit.
I’m not quite sure if it’s a stain or a place that’s been buffed by the SC prior to delivery. Or…is that the same net result?

I wonder if passivating the entire door skin with Citrisurf would make a cosmetic difference.

I had a similar discoloration on a marine panel. I used Aqua Armor Stainless steel and more, It evened out the finish and has Si02 Nano Ceramic to aid in longevity of the finish. I started using this on my truck and have been pleased with the result.
