I'm surprised at how many haters are in the comments of that article.
I don't know where the haters get their energy or motivation. Maybe they are bots. How can you hate the most American made auto company with the fastest muscle car in production in the world. 5 passenger no less.

They are closely related to the people who come down out of the mountains after the battle and bayonet the wounded. They helped kill the Elio and are doing their best to do the same thing to the Aptera. The CT is pretty safe.

Either bored and trolling or genuinely against Tesla and EV etc

Statistically what proportion of ICE mechanics are grumpy and desperate enough to be motivated to sling slurs? 1% of 1 million mechanics is still a lot of people...

The hate is real. The simple explanation is: "we humans hate/resist change". EV's are a massive change that is going to disrupt several industries, and the way of life for a lot of people. I actually think it's going to get way worse.
With only 1% of vehicles on the road, most people ignored or dismissed them as "nothing to see here". But now, as all these companies are marketing all their new EV models, and they can't help but know the massive wave of change is coming. The fear and hate will increase.
I tell my kids you get what you give, during interactions with people. It is my duty to try and understand where the hate is coming from, and try to resist getting drawn in to arguments with people. It's not going to be easy. A lot of these people are friends and relatives. Even my wife and youngest son are still on the dark side.

Well unfortunately preorders don't guarantee production or any sales price. There is nothing to suggest Tesla is going to be producing any CTs in months. Musk was pretty noncommittal about CT and 2023 production at the earnings call in January. I'd settle for some definitive confirmation of Cybertruck production by the end of 2023, even if Tesla fails to meet a timeline they put out then. Now way back at preorder #27000 (10-15 minutes after preorders opened) I really don't see getting my CT before 2025 and at less than 150% of the 2019 proposed pricing.

Excellent point. 10000 mechanic trolls could make a lot of noise. I suppose drill rig operators dealership people and refiners as well. Hopefully they will find a job building the new upgraded grid.

Having $80B in pre-orders is a significant incentive. I expect my CT in 2023 assuming availability of chips and raw materials.

I guess this is the basis of Trump era/tea party conservatism. Resist change, deny problems exist.

I kind of get it if it is a unconscious decision, but to mastermind misinformation is evil.

Here's to the future 🤞

This is the CNN version of lies. They went nonstop Russia, Russia, Russia, for 3 years which was all masterminded misinformation. Hillary bought and paid for the fake dossier.

I think its also important to recognise the things that don't change, or at least not at much or as fast, and in particular why we think things are changing. Not all things must change, but if they do, and are caused by mankind, it should be intentional, not a by-product of our more base desires.

The sun comes up every day, we breath, we post here online, and physics. It is important to realise that physics has never changed, just our limited understanding of it, and in many things we remain blissfully unaware, and act accordingly. This is all part of the "growing up" process, where our values yearn to seek out the more meaningful things in our lives. The trick is to never give up looking for answers, and try to reduce any bias we put on them in our favour.

ICE trolls are just like "us", maybe just with less control of their personal bias.

Do you really think Joe Biden "acknowledging" problems exist has solved a single problem? If so, discuss..
Trump does not "Resist change". He is very pro-American, pro-Freedom, let industries lead, that drives people crazy who want to try to control others.

Eying @CyberGus with squinted eyes, “ what’s your reservation number…?” (Wondering whether to become green with envy)
