So I picked up my CyberTruck on Saturday April 27th May 27th, and absolutely love it. I am coming from a 2018 Performance Model 3, and my wife has a 2021 Performance Model Y (which I love both of them). I have never had a truck, and frankly never even contemplated it until CyberTruck. I do love it! Unfortunately, this past Saturday (after having it for just a week), I was parked in a parking lot and put the vehicle in off-road "extract" mode, to lift the suspension. Still while parked, after a few minutes, I heard a "pop" and the suspension lowered with error message "Air suspension unable to raise. Functionality may be restored on next drive". I drove it about 8 miles to my nearest Tesla showroom (it definitely was a rough/bumpy drive, and gave me such appreciation for the comfort of the CyberTruck when the suspension doesn't have an issue). To my disappointment, Tesla service currently says it will take just over a month to get parts to fix this issue. I am not yet sure what parts, or specifically what the issue is, other than its estimated to be fixed by June 7th. After a two week delivery delay due to the pedal/containment hold, having the truck for all of one week, and now having it in service for over a month, it has definitely been an extremely bumpy ride (pun intended). My VIN for those interested is just over 3900. Hopefully this is an isolated issue and there isn't anything systemic.

Edited: to correct my original delivery date of April 27th (Not May 27th). Thanks Cboy7 for pointing it out.

This error hasn't been reported on the forum before that I know of...

Hopefully it's just a line that didn't meet torque or something and once they can get to it they'll be able to fix it easily.

I certainly hope it turns out to be an easy fix!

After having the blinking camera on/off issue with mine since day 1 (see my other post), lately it appears the CT cannot stay connected to Internet/Cellular/WiFi. Sometimes my app cannot locate the vehicle for several minutes. Also I go to get in (especially in the morning) and the CT won't "start". Just a black screen. The app and app key won't do it. The card key won't do it. Finally after 15-20 minutes, the truck shows up on the app and comes to life.

My service center has been responsive via the service section of the app and now has a Virtual Diagnostics tech trying to help me remotely. I hope he can, because the next available service date I can get is May 28th. When I politely questioned that date and asked for something this week, the response was: "Due to recent layoffs within the company we are down on technicians. That is why we are booked out that far. We will not be able to squeeze you in, nor will I have a loaner if that needs to be the case."

I love my 2014 Model S, love Tesla, what they have done, and the amazing truck they have built. Wondering how far that loyalty and admiration are going to carry me on this journey. The service/support stories are starting to scare me.

I put mine into extract mode once to try it out and heard a loud pop too. Didn't know what it was and it didn't seem to effect anything. No alerts or problems after that.

Wow! Glad you dont seem to have any additional issues. For me, in low setting, I can normally put a closed fist between my tires and the fender/body. For my passenger front wheel - after the issue - I can barely put a flat hand between the two. So it is visually obvious that there is an issue, in addition to the bumpy ride coming from that area.

I wonder if maybe I had a burp past an o-ring you had a torn o-ring? I kinda want to try putting it in extract mode again to see but also not...

I'm glad this happened to me while parked in a parking lot with only me in the car rather than while driving down the street with my wife and kids. I'd rather it not break at all, but if given the choice, I'd like to find it out is broken in a safe environment. Although I do question the capability to off-road based on this experience.

April 27? or does it travel into the future now?
One of the most frequent comments I got was that it looked like it was from the future. You are right though, April 27th, not May 27th! Thanks for catching that.

You can keep your truck and have SC call you when the parts are in.
